My field is physics, with a focus on graphene research. My research aims to enhance the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process to produce high-purity, impurity-free graphene. This work is essential for improving graphene’s quality and expanding its applications across advanced technologies, particularly in areas like magnetization, antibacterial materials, and water purification. I have published research on graphene fabrication methods and the practical applications of graphene in these fields, contributing to innovations in material science and applied physics.
Ph. D Degree, Physics – Full- time Study (January 2020) Sultan Qaboos University, Title: Fabrication and Optimization of Monolayer CVD Graphene and the Study of its Potential Applications. Master's Degree, Physics – Full- time Study (August 2011) Sultan Qaboos University, Title: Assessment of Gamma-Emitting Radionuclides in Soil and Beach Sediments: Musandam Governorate. Lab research at the Food and Water Laboratories Center (FWLC), Ministry of Regional Municipalities & Water Resources, Oman.
My research interests focus on graphene fabrication, graphene quality enhancement, and the development of impurity-free graphene. My work also includes graphene magnetization and applied research with applications in antibacterial technologies and water purification. Characterization Techniques: X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Raman Spectroscopy, Ultra-Clean Processes (UCP), and Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR).
