Dr. Shaban Ismael Albrka Ali Zangena graduated with a PhD in Civil Engineering (Highway and Transportation Engineering) from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). His research areas include transportation engineering, asphalt materials, polymer nanocomposite-modified binders, and traffic safety. With extensive experience in academic and research roles, Dr. Zangena has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervised numerous MSc and PhD theses, and contributed significantly to transportation and asphalt materials research. His publications span high-impact journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, covering topics like polymer nanocomposite-modified asphalt binders and traffic safety.
