Dr. Ilias is an accomplished academic with a Ph.D. in Project Management, a Master’s degree in Project Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying. With a strong background in teaching and research, Dr. Ilias served as an Associate Professor in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) until 2022. During this tenure, Dr. Ilias actively contributed to advancing knowledge in construction cost management, project planning, and risk assessment through extensive research and scholarly publications.
In addition to academic achievements, Dr. Ilias is a Chartered Surveyor accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), a Consultant Quantity Surveyor registered with the Board of Quantity Surveyors, and a member of the Institution of Surveyors Malaysia. With extensive experience in the industry, Dr. Ilias has provided consultancy services in various construction projects, offering expertise in cost management, contract administration, and project delivery. This combined academic and professional background enables Dr. Ilias to bridge theory with practice, contributing valuable insights to both educational and industry sectors.
