Dr. Mazhar Hussain Baloch received his B.E & M.E. degrees in Electrical Power Engineering from the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, Pakistan in 2008 & 2013 respectively. He did his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) China in 2017, and also, He did Post-Doctoral fellowship from University Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia in 2019. Dr. Baloch possesses multi-dynamic experience of more than fifteen years (16) years of teaching, research, industrial and management experience. From 2008, Dr Mazhar worked in various organization at national/international level. Since, Oct. 2022, Dr Mazhar Baloch is working as an Assistant Professor @ College of Engineering, A 'Sharqiyah University, Sultanate of Oman. His current research interests include power system stability, energy management, solar energy, wind energy, and hybrid systems in microgrid setup. Dr. Baloch is a member of the Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Power and Energy Society. He is a registered engineer at Pakistan Engineering Council. He has published more than seventy (75) peer-reviewed articles with 1500 google scholar citations and (H-index-19 & i10index-37). He has been successful in receiving various grants for research projects, research and development activities, and capacity building.
